Games of July: Oh yeah, it’s that bad.

Call of Juarez, NCAA, Captain America movie game, a couple creepy anime games… yeah, the Summer Slump has turned into a drought. That’s honestly why we started the Summer Drought Marathon of game streaming. We have to find a way to survive before all hope is lost!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (Multi-platform) – It looks like gears of war with wands. No, seriously, it does. We didn’t even play the first one. This month is looking bad enough that we might actually bite the bullet spell.

From Dust (Multi-platform) – This one is is slightly intriguing. It’s like Populous/Black and White in a way. You’re a god and you have to help guide a nomadic tribe by manipulating elements and environment. Perhaps if it allows for enough creativity and thought to go into the gameplay it will be fun. Hopefully it’s cheap since it’s a digital distribution title via Steam, XBLA, and PSN.

Yeah, it’s bad.

  • There’s a slight chance Torchlight 2 will come out in July, but in all likelihood it’ll be August/September. It’s a damn shame.
