Well before I head to bed I thought I would post a little picture from Nasa’s website of the Socal Fires. Still wishing the best to my fellow bloggers and friends displaced by the fire as well as the SoE, Areae, and other teams out down close to San Diego and other fire locations. For those who maybe didn’t believe that all Southern California seems to be burning…look at the scale of that. *chokes a little*
Maybe it’s just because it’s late and I should be in bed already, but the smoke trail looks like two ghostly hands reaching out for the West Coast. Or maybe it’s because I was watching Halloween movies tonight.
On a more serious note… Wow, that’s a lot of fire near the Mexican border. That sure doesn’t look like it’ll burn out anytime soon.
First Greece now the US…these wind driven fires seem to be something that fire services seem to have real problems dealing with…I caught on tv a californian pumping foam over his house to stop it from catching fire!
It does look like a ghostly figure touching the globe! Hope you’re ok where you are Keen.
