I found an interview over at WarCry that has no new information but provides a few exceptional screenshots. Some new screens of housing have emerged in this interview and they appear to be taken in the new Dx10 supported client. Gollum looks sorta disappointing but I suppose there wasn’t much they could do to make him look like the New Line Cinema version… lawsuits and all. The interface for decorating your house looks like it will be very simple to use – that’s a plus – and overall I think this will be a fantastic update. Hopefully someone will have an interview with pictures of the new Misty Mountains.

Turbine is proving that they are capable of quality content. Now if only we as fans can convince them that once every two months is just too long to wait for updates to the game, then maybe LOTRO will weather the storm of the next gen games in 2008. For now Book 11 is the only thing keeping me playing. I’ve completed Helegrod, obtained level 50 a few times, maxed out my gear to the best it can be, and seen everything in the current Middle-Earth. It’s time to expand upon what we have at a faster pace or else the ship is going to sink.
