Adventures anew

Looking back a few blog entries you’ll find that I’ve been struggling to pinpoint exactly what race and class combination I want to take to the end in LOTRO. So far I’ve played my Champion up to level 22 and find it just too darn repetetive considering the distance I took my champ in beta. I tried the hunter and sadly gave up around level 12-15 because it was simply a clash of playstyles. So like I said earlier I’m going for the Burglar because every fight feels slightly different and the class really grows and matures as you level up – something the champion class lacks.

Last night I started my Man Burglar and he’s up to level 12 now. Graev has been sucked into Super Paper Mario for the Wii so it’s good that I’ve found a character I enjoy soloing with. That’s the beauty of the Burglar class. You can solo just about anything your leveling including a few of the weaker elites. So back to my burglar; He’s level 12 now and has finished up all of Combe and the majority of the Staddle quests. I was surprised to see how many people were still looking for groups in the lower ranges – it was actually a good sign for me since I was scared I had missed the boat by delaying my start.

Tonight I plan to get to level 15+ with high hopes that I will be well into the Ost Guruth quests by the end of the weekend. More to come in the following days!
