Returning to Legion Has Me All Confuzzled

I decided to take the advice many of you had for me over the past two weeks and resub to World of Warcraft to see what has changed in the past year. Actually, I stopped playing somewhere in February 2017, so that puts me having missed both the 7.2 and the 7.3 patches.

That’s sort of what I want to talk about in tonight’s brief post. I feel really, really lost. What follows are mild to major plot spoilers as I try and ask for your help and piece this together.


Blizzard on Class Development Locking In Before Expansion

These past few days I’ve been weighing my options for a return to that game that must not be named. I’m looking at classes and considering my options for an uber-casual “do the story stuff and see what happens” return, as so many of you have encouraged in your replies to my recent MMO posts.

While browsing around forums and fan sites I came across a statement from community manager Kaivax where he says that class development is pretty much done for Battle for Azeroth.



Wrath of the Lich King was the Best WoW Expansion

Something about Battle for Azeroth was announced today. Maybe a release date or prepurchase or something? I don’t know, but the news has people talking about WoW again in our community and the main topic hasn’t been contemporary.

I’m probably not telling you anything you don’t already know and agree with completely. Wrath of the Lich King was so far beyond and away the best WoW expansion there has been and likely — given its direction — ever will be.
