I’m quietly working my way through Dragon Quest Builders on the Switch. If you like sandbox games about building, crafting, and random arcade-like mob crushing, then this is definitely something you should check out on Switch.
You’ll build up cities, create rooms and decorate them for bonuses, hunt dragons and ghosts and other monsters, explore pyramids, deserts, forests, and swamps, and all sorts of adventures.
There’s also another reason to play the original… carry over data bonus.
In an interview roundup I found on Gematsu, they say there’s going to be carry over data from your DQB file to your DQB2 file. What that bonus will be is currently unknown, but it’s incentive to play.
DQB2 will also feature multiplayer, but to what extent is unknown. All they’ve said right now is that “there will be a multiplayer”.
If you haven’t checked out it, watch some videos or just jump in head first. I know the people who picked it up so far on my recommendation have enjoyed themselves!
