To all of our readers and random passers-by, we would like to wish you and yours a  Happy Holidays and/or non-denominational day of … screw it.  Merry Christmas!  We hope that you have a great day!  We plan to open our presents, of which many if not all will be games and gaming related, and spend the day playing with them.

After the Christmas Crawl ends (day after Xmas!) we’ll be bringing you several blog entries featuring our favorite games of 2009 as well as the ones that got away.

  • Happy Holidays to you guys.

It’s been a good year gaming with you all. Looking forward to many more.

  • Santa was good to us this year. I got a netbook for school (typing on it now from the kitchen!), a few very nice books, and some fun games to play. Graev got several console games and other goodies he’s been wanting. Overall a good haul that should keep us busy for at least a few days. 😉

I’m in charge of the prime rib this year… we’ll see how well that turns out (uh oh).

  • Okay, so it didn’t go quite as planned. I blame the horrible oven they throw into every tract home that decides when and if it wants to heat itself to the number on the knob. I think that perhaps the thermometer and oven were in cahoots this time. I followed the directions exact and the thermometer read the correct temperature… but the meat was still rarer than people here like it. I was aiming for medium well. You know, that perfect blend of pink and not too pink. Well, it was red. And sorta still going “MOooOooo”. Oh well, the potatoes were awesome.

  • “medium rare is were its at!”

My side of the family served prime rib for lunch. After that we had prime rib with my wife’s family for dinner. So good, but i am all prime ribbed out.

  • lol reminds me of a time I dated a vegetarian and she put me on her diet as well…man would see cows in fields and I swear I could of just jumped out of the car and start feasting 🙂 Had to break it up.

  • Medium Rare is the only way to eat Cow. I always say, walk my cow by an oven and scare it to death, then bring it to me on a plate.

  • Happy Holidays. This sounds corny but this blog has gotten me through a tough year this year. Thanks for keeping it entertaining.
