WAR is still coming in Q2 2008

I’m glad I’ve been busy lately with RL.  Had I been following the Warhammer rumor-mill closely as usual I would have more than likely had a milisecond of disappointment.  A rumor surfaced yesterday that perhaps Warhammer Online’s release date was pushed forward.  Mark Jacobs cleared up the confusion stating that the source had confused a Fiscal Year with a Calendar Year.  The report cited EA’s CEO stating that the game had been moved to Q1 Fiscal Year 2008 which translates to Q2 Calendar Year.   Yay for being busy and catching this after-the-fact

At least we’re getting closer to Q2 every day and this mistake has in a way reassured my faith in the Q2 release.  I’m feeling that release storm coming.  It’s always the same when a mmorpg is nearing the last few months of beta.
