I played Warhammer Online lastnight

I played as a Bright Wizard and ran around for hours through a forest slaying bears and wolf-like people.  The Bright Wizard is actually very powerful.  I was able to one shot everything I came across.  The spell graphics were like nothing I’ve ever seen before.  The fire spells looked as though molten lava were melting off my hands.  My other arcane spells seemed to bend the fabric of the game to my will.  I never knew spell casters could be so much FUN!  And the graphics… I’ve never seen anything like it.  The attention to detail and the immersion factor are through the roof!

After slaying mobs for a bit I ran through dense forest with trees so large it made sequoia look small.  I traveled further in and found what appeared to be an Orcish outpost in the middle of  a lumber camp operation.  That’s what it looked like at first.  When I got closer I realized the outpost was really a fortress half buried beneath the earth.  The entrance was cleverly masked by fallen logs and large saw-like machinery.   Someone had cleverly left a little hole that I was able to squeeze my character through.  Once inside I realized that this place was enormous.  I ran around trying to find someone.  I found someone alright…

When turning the first corner I came in to a large congregating area with fountains and trees (yes, trees underground!) and what appeared to be several shops.  That wasn’t the end of it.  Standing together talking and emoting were Orcs, High Elves, Goblins, Dark Elves, Dwarves, other Empire like myself… why weren’t they fighting?!  This is WAR! WAR is everywhere!  This must be where the gold farmers hang out I thought.  It had to be… why else would they be working together?  Then I noticed something very peculiar about one of the goblins.  It was actually a Lurikeen dancing like a gnome from WoW.

Then I woke up.  🙁
