Well, that should do it. I think I have not only solved the vulnerability but I have made the site magically run faster. I guess punching things really does work…

I was one version below the latest I think. Scary how delaying the upgrade of that can be so hazardous.
I wonder how secure WordPress really is? I was more than a few updates behind, but immediately updated when I saw your blog was hijacked. You get a lot more hits than I do, so I’m not as vulnerable, but it’s still a bit worrisome.
