Keen and Graev Reviews

We’ve been writing reviews of the games we play here at K&G’s gaming blog since the beginning. We haven’t however had a system for ranking them more than stating our general opinions. As of now yesterday we decided to implement a very basic system where we will give the games an overall score out of 5 (5/5 being perfect). There really isn’t much to explain here other than 1/5 would be incredibly poor, 2/5 would be well below the average game of its type, 3/5 would be average, 4/5 would be a good game, and 5/5 would be near perfect in every way.   Reading the review is more important than our scores though.  The score is simply a very broad classification for the game and in the review you’ll find the details.  If you know us you know we’re not in the business of shoveling crap and calling it ice cream – hey what can I say? At least we’re honest. We plan to review more games than we have in the past because one of the biggest reasons we started this blog was to relay to our readers the good and the bad of what we play.

In addition to the rankings we have also created a Seal of Approval that we plan to award to the games we feel should truly be owned and played by everyone. It will be an immediate indication to our readers that without even needing to read the review you can know the game is worth your attention. We hope that combining the Seal and the ranking system will further our ability to reach our readership with the information important to us.

As always, if there is a game you feel we should review or that we should give our opinion on we are happy to oblige if able. Below is a sample of the graphics to look for in our reviews. You can also find a complete compilation of the reviews we have done under the reviews category or the reviews page.
