I’ve been having a blast on Neeknaem! He’s now only about 100 points away from Rank 1 and he has already purchased all the passive upgrades and active abilities for Rank 0. Right now I’m debating if I should save my points for Rank 1 upgrades or go for some of the traits. I think I’m just going to save that way I can go into Rank 1 with a dominating amount of destiny points. I’ve been spending my time doing the repeatable quests and turning them in 4-5 at a time giving me over 1,000 DP every two hours which isn’t bad at all.
Now the highlight of my monster play experience thus far has to be the battle we had last night outside of “TA” which I think is shorthand for Tol Ascarnen(sp?). The freeps were out in massive numbers. The creeps had the bridge under control for the majority of 2 hours webbing and focus firing on those brave enough to come close. The battles went back and forth and ultimately I can’t say one side actually won over the other but we all definitely had fun. The biggest downside to all this is that in a raid you only get maybe 1-5 DP a kill and as a melee… well I just can’t handle not being with healers. I was the only Reaver online out of 20+ creeps which made me feel “neat-o” but almost useless unless the enemy was webbed.
Hopefully I will continue to slowly build a name for myself as I continue to do my best to slay the Free Peoples of Middle-Earth. Neeknaem is one blood thirsty little Orc though. He definitely bites Hobbit faces.
