General Gaming Discussion / Re: first TCG/MMO on kickstarter
« Last post by TheRedComet on May 15, 2013, 06:10:42 AM »
Oh wow, Cryptozoic is doing it too. They make some fun games, like the WoW TCG which is a lot of fun. I'm going to have to keep my eyes on this, even though I don't usually like the idea of online card games. If I'm going to spend money on cards I'd rather them be physical. If the game doesn't rely too much on a cash shop or anything though, I'll definitely be more interested.

Edit: Okay, rather than skim through I actually read the whole thing. I really, really like how this is sounding. Could change my mind about online card games. Seriously considering helping to fund it.

General Gaming Discussion / first TCG/MMO on kickstarter

I grew up playing magic the gathering and UO so this definitely looks like something I want to play.  They seem to be really innovating on how card games can play, sockets, gameplay stats, etc...  The beta is expected in september.

I never really got into this game that much, so I may give it another try. I probably didn't get past level 5.

I hit max level in this game very fast (foundry op) and I've got really good gear from pvp and dungeons. My impressions so far is that the pvp is very boring and repetative, and after you have the full gear (which you can get in a single day if you want) there is no point in pvping. The rest of the gear comes from dungeons, some of them were kind of fun. Nothing new here though, I like the idea of foundries but IDK thats all this game has going for it and the devs have already nerfed it into the ground xp wise and for item drops.

I think we can easily have 25 people interested in playing WildStar from our community.  We can have a lot of fun base and house building.

I don't remember the last time I was this excited for an MMO. Wild Star just looks like so much fun. Normally I just want to get into betas for games to try them out before I buy, but I'd really love to get into Wild Star so I can help provide feedback and hopefully help make it a better game. Here's to hoping.

I really like the DevSpeak videos they're doing. The Housing video got me even more excited.

Definitely reminds me of some WoW armor, but it looks great!
