I thought about trying this.  I also read somewhere that Blizz may be adding this into the game somehow.  

Seems like a fun challenge.

I hate questing with all my heart, but if I knew that one death ended it, that would make every battle much more interesting.  Especially with crap gear.

hehe, I did something very similar in DDO for a time, it dose make an old game more interesting

That's what kills it for me, primarily. I realize it'd be damn near impossible to track it if you grouped all the time, but that's what I enjoy the most.

in DDO we had a whole guild play by these kind of rules. so it worked out quite well
