14 day free trail

Well so far it looks like at least 4 of us are doing the Darkfall 14 day free trail:

Bartlebe
Phandy
Keen

As well as three former EU1 players still playing DFO:

So maybe some of you guys might just want to check it out, both former and new players.  What could it hurt, it's 14 days of free gameplay.

You can have a free 14 day trial but if you want to use your old character, you'll have to use your old account.

I'm confused.  This is what I see when I want to transfer.

You have to click on the character transfer tab (?).

All that tab does is tell you the process, which is then to come over to the shop tab.

doesn't say anything about paying.  I just didn't know how others did it, or they had to pay.

I don't know it seems that my characters got lost in the transfer way back when they were still free.. I know they aren't on the EU server but there's nothing on the NA servers either.. contacting support atm..

AFAIK, transfers cost money and are (essentially) instant. I've heard a few people claiming they got a free transfer, but I think all instances of that were a "limited time only" type of thing.

Keen's got lost as well until he entered a valid billing method.  When he did he was able to see them finally.  Also, you have to log in twice in order to change your billing method, really odd.  If you want help Dawnwarden, just log into Keen's vent tonight and I can walk you through it.

I believe Darkfall has a free trial to those who haven't owned the game in the past but if you want to continue to play after the free trial you probably have to buy it.  Although we don't know if that is the case since my first 14 day free trail ran out yesterday and I just picked up another free trail on the same account.  I love Adventurine and all the bugs their account page has.

Looking at a euro to dollar converter it costs just under $14.00 to transfer.
