1.0 About the class
Taken from viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1061:
The brilliant, powerful Warlock is a master of offensive magic, especially of the dark variety. His supernatural targeted and area effect spells wreak havoc on the defenses of his enemies and quickly drain their magical powers. Carrying a staff and arrayed in enchanted robes, he rapidly subdues the weak-minded, often stunning them or rendering them otherwise helpless. While exceptionally potent, his spells sometimes carry the risk of damaging the Warlock himself, making it beneficial to keep a Paladin or Cleric nearby. His latent teleportation abilities may prove essential to any party wishing to flee an overly powerful foe.
The Warlock is the main AoEr (AoE = area of effect, it means his spells can attack multiple monsters at the same time) of the game. At LVL 50 he has have 5 AoE attacks and one AoE teleport. His attacks usually cause some sort of debuff (slow, sleep or stun) and have a really high damage. Because of that the Warlock is a very useful class in almost all parts of the game.
For additional information about the class, check this thread: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=847
1.1 Pros:
High damage;
Lots of AoEs with debuffs;
High magical defense;
Needed for dungeons;
Really useful in mass PvP (castle sieges, battlegrouns and relic wars);
Good class to have in parties;
Can solo pretty well;
Able to kill most enemies in a few hits.
1.2 Cons:
Depending on how you play can be expensive;
Low physical defense;
Gets interrupted pretty easily, making it harder to cast some skills.
2.0 Skills
I will talk about all Warlock skills up to LVL 50. The LVL 50+ skills will be here, but since I didn't have a chance to play with them I can't really say anything. Remember: you can reskill anytime if you pay a small amount of gold. I will give you some tips on what you should and shouldn't do, but you are free to do whatever you want with your character. And please read the rest of the guide for builds, the descriptions about the skills in this section are very small and you shouldn't base on your build on them. All information regarding the skills were taken from here: http://aika-tools.6.ql.bz/skill/en/skill.html?j=kmg# And here you can find all detailed information about the skills in TXT format: http://pastebin.com/tQbx6DuS
2.1 Tier 1
Firebal
[ Basic fireball that causes magical damage. ]
Do not waste points in this skill. It is your most basic spell and has a nice damage, but at LVL 8 you will get a skill called Lightning Orb that does more damage (if Fireball is still LVL 1), casts faster and has a slow debuff.
Enervate
[ Skill that may cause a continuous damage to the target. ]
This is a single target DoT (DoT = damage over time) skill. As pointed out by dugon this skill is very useful at earlier levels because it drastically decreases your kill time by adding a constant damage to the enemy. You should use some points in this skill.
Polymorph
[ Transforms the target into a rabbit for a period of time. ]
This is a debuff that makes your target become a rabbit and decreases his movement speed. You should use only 1 point in this skill. Remember that if the enemy is attacked while under the effect of this skill he will lose the debuff and come back to normal. Will explain more in the PvP section.
Lightning Orb
[ Causes damage and causes slow effect. ]
Your main spammable attack spell before you get your AoEs. You should use all the points you can in this skill.
Mana Shield
[ Selfbuff that directs part of the damage received to your own MP. ]
Useful in certain situations. It is really up to you if you want to level this skill up or not. If you are planning of AoEing a lot then you should probably level it up, but you could save some points for other skills for before you get your AoEs (you get the first one at LVL 25).
Hellfire
[ Causes damage and also causes stun. ]
High damage spell that causes stun. You should have at least 1 point in this skill because of the stun. It's your choice if you want to level it up more or not.
2.2 Tier 2
Aetheric Shackles
[ Causes damage and also causes silence effect on the target. ]
The best (and only) skill to silence enemies. REALLY useful against other casters and against monsters that use skills. You should upgrade it if you feel it's necessary.
Black Harvest
[ Causes damage and a percentage of the damage is converted in HP to the caster. ]
Somewhat high damage, instant cast, close ranged skill that recovers your HP. It is a life saver when you can't use your HP potions and really good for PvP. You should use all the points you can in this skill.
Mana Torrent
[ Passive skill that increases your magic attack, but also increases the MP consumption of the skills. ]
If you want more damage and you don't have problem with running out of MP that often, then you should upgrade this one. It doesn't add THAT much damage, but everything helps.
Meditate
[ Passive skill that increases your MP and the MP recovery rate. ]
If you have problems with running out of MP too fast, then you should upgrade this one. It doesn't add THAT much MP, but everything helps.
Shadow Fall
[ Ranged damage over time AoE skill. ]
Your first AoE skill. I would say this is your main AoE skill since it is sort of spammable. You deal damage for 10 seconds and then you can cast it again after 2 seconds. You should upgrade this skill as much as possible if you like AoEing.
Soul Trap
[ Curse that causes damage when the target reaches 20% HP or after a period of time.]
A tricky skill to play with. It is useful at early levels, but most people prefer to use their points in other skills after a while.
2.3 Tier 3
Aether Flare
[ Three magic balls are cast very fast.]
The skill that sort of replaces Lightning Orb. It has a 6 seconds cooldown, but high damage. Level it up!
Inferno
[ AoE skill that causes damage and slow effect.]
AoE skill that damages a certain area around you and causes enemies to become slower. Very useful if used in combos with other skills and to finish off monsters after casting Shadow Fall.
Nightmare
[ Causes sleep on the enemies around you.]
The best skill ever. ^^ Makes all targets around you sleep for some seconds. If they are attacked they come back to normal.
Rend Soul
[ DoT skill that also reduces the target's physical and magical defense.]
Replaces Enervate, I think. Depends on your build if you should upgrade it or not.
Mass Teleport
[ Transports you and your teammates to pre-set locations.]
You can teleport your party members and yourself to anywhere you previously saved in the world.
Doesn't work on other nations or dungeons, but it is really useful to defend temples.
Meteor
[ Ranged AoE skill that causes damage and stun effect.]
The AoE skill that deals the most damage ever. It has a 5 minutes cooldown and takes 10 seconds to cast at LVL 1.
2.4 Tier 4
Mirrored Agony
[ AoE skill that causes a high damage to the enemies and to yourself, but you will never cause your own death.]
Ahriman's Blessing
[ Passive skill that rises the resistance to silence effect.]
Calamity
[ In a selected area, every enemy that enters will receive a damage over time injury and slow effect.]
Prominence
[ ]
Focus Magic
[ ]
Lightning Storm
[ ]

3.0 Builds
Before I talk about the standard builds this class can have I would like to share with you my idea of how to create new builds. I do not believe that there is a build that will be better than all others and that a player who has that specific build and maxed gears can reach the maximum potential of the class. I believe this because different situations require different builds. If you have an AoE only based build and you enter a 6v6 battlefield, it is quite possible that you will not do as good as you could have done if you had a more balanced build. The same goes for other types of builds the Warlock can have. Having that in mind, let me introduce to you 3 types of roles the Warlock can play and their respective builds. Remember: the next 3 builds I'll show you probably DO NOT work well in the game. They are pure builds that actually don't make that much sense. I'm just using them to illustrate the points I'll try to make in the next section.
3.1 Pure builds
1v1: http://aika-tools.6.ql.bz/skill/en/skil ... r=g6jr38bk
CODE: SELECT ALL
Lvl 50 1v1 Build
- Lightning Orb (Lvl MAX)
- Aetheric Shackles (Lvl MAX)
- Black Harvest (Lvl MAX)
- Mana Torrent (Lvl MAX)
- Aether Flare (Lvl MAX)
- Rend Soul (Lvl MAX)
- Mass Teleport (Lvl MAX)
- Polymorph (Lvl 1/10)
This is a basic 1v1 only build. Once again, this probably doesn't work in the game. But notice that while this probably is a bad build overall, it is a very good 1v1 build (obviously).
Close Ranged AoE: http://aika-tools.6.ql.bz/skill/en/skil ... r=g6jrao37
CODE: SELECT ALL
Lvl 50 Close Ranged AoE Build (Remaining: 1 SP)
- Mana Shield (Lvl MAX)
- Mana Torrent (Lvl MAX)
- Meditate (Lvl MAX)
- Soul Trap (Lvl MAX)
- Inferno (Lvl MAX)
- Nightmare (Lvl MAX)
- Mass Teleport (Lvl MAX)
- Meteor (Lvl MAX)
- Polymorph (Lvl 1/10)
This is close ranged AoE build. It focuses on AoEs that deal damage around the caster and that can disable enemies, like Inferno and Nightmare. This type of build will probably be better once we get the 50+ AoEs. And again, this probably doesn't work in the game as a good build, since you don't have any 1v1 spells.
Long Ranged AoE: http://aika-tools.6.ql.bz/skill/en/skil ... r=g6jr7uj3
CODE: SELECT ALL
Lvl 50 Long Ranged AoE Build (Remaining: 3 SP)
- Mana Shield (Lvl MAX)
- Mana Torrent (Lvl MAX)
- Meditate (Lvl MAX)
- Shadow Fall (Lvl MAX)
- Soul Trap (Lvl MAX)
- Mass Teleport (Lvl MAX)
- Meteor (Lvl MAX)
- Polymorph (Lvl 1/10)
A long ranged AoE build. It looks pretty similar to the previous build, but has Shadow Fall. The difference would be more noticeable if we had 50+ skills, but since this is just go give you an idea, it should work for now.
One thing about all those builds: they all have Polymorph and Mass Teleport. That's how useful I think those skills are. ^^
3.2 Hybrid builds
OK, now that you know about the pure builds we can start creating our real builds. Lets say you like relic wars a lot, then you will probably choose an AoE build, but if you have only AoEs then you really can't kill single targets, and sometimes you really need to do that. So what you need to do is create a new build that has some 1v1 and some AoE skills. Since you are going to AoE, preferably all AoE and a few 1v1 skills.
Obviously the skills you pick from the two pure builds will depend on your gameplay style. But basically all the good builds can be built by mixing two of the pure builds. I'm going to give you a few examples, feel free to change them as much as you like, since it is your character and you are the one who is going to play it! ^^
All the builds that I will show you are PvP based for people that already hit LVL 50. In the next section I will show you a standard way of levelling up with a PvE build that can be also used for PvP, so you don't need to reskill all the time you want to fight against other players.

CODE: SELECT ALL
Lvl 50 Warlock Build
- Lightning Orb (Lvl MAX)
- Black Harvest (Lvl MAX)
- Shadow Fall (Lvl MAX)
- Soul Trap (Lvl MAX)
- Aether Flare (Lvl MAX)
- Inferno (Lvl MAX)
- Meteor (Lvl MAX)
- Mass Teleport (Lvl 2/3)
- Fireball (Lvl 1/13)
- Polymorph (Lvl 1/10)
- Aetheric Shackles (Lvl 1/9)
Pretty interesting build. Lightning Orb, Aetheric Shackles and Aether Flare give you options when you want to deal with a single player. The rest of the skills are mostly AoEs, so it is also a good build for mass PvP. The only things you lose are: Mana Shield and Nightmare. This means that you will have to be really careful when using Inferno, try to pick a group that is being attacked by your friends and that isn't paying much attention to you. LVL 5 Inferno hurts! =P By the way, this is 1v1 + long ranged AoE build, except for Inferno. You have all the tools to help your nation push through places like Tabazra Passage or Algon's roads to the temple. And if necessary you can help someone being ganked or kill a nearly dead group by using Inferno.
-> http://aika-tools.6.ql.bz/skill/en/skil ... r=g6ln5l0h
CODE: SELECT ALL
Lvl 50 Warlock Build (Remaining: 7 SP)
- Lightning Orb (Lvl MAX)
- Aetheric Shackles (Lvl MAX)
- Black Harvest (Lvl MAX)
- Aether Flare (Lvl MAX)
- Rend Soul (Lvl MAX)
- Meteor (Lvl MAX)
- Fireball (Lvl 1/13)
- Polymorph (Lvl 1/10)
- Mass Teleport (Lvl 1/3)
A really 1v1 focused build. Left 7 points for you to choose your second AoE (Shadow Fall, Soul Trap or Inferno) or to upgrade one of the passive spells. This build should be really useful in battlefields and for attacking enemy nations. You should use skills like Aetheric Shackles wisely, silencing DGs, RMs and Clerics first.

CODE: SELECT ALL
Lvl 50 Warlock Build
- Mana Shield (Lvl MAX)
- Shadow Fall (Lvl MAX)
- Soul Trap (Lvl MAX)
- Aether Flare (Lvl MAX)
- Inferno (Lvl MAX)
- Nightmare (Lvl MAX)
- Meteor (Lvl MAX)
- Mana Torrent (Lvl 5/8)
- Fireball (Lvl 1/13)
- Polymorph (Lvl 1/10)
- Aetheric Shackles (Lvl 1/9)
- Mass Teleport (Lvl 1/3)
Heavy AoE build. The only 1v1 attack spell you have is Aether Flare. Basically this build is for defending temples and or gates for castle sieges. Lots of AoEs and lots of disables, should work fine for those purposes.
-> http://aika-tools.6.ql.bz/skill/en/skil ... r=g6lnmln7
CODE: SELECT ALL
Lvl 50 Warlock Build
- Black Harvest (Lvl MAX)
- Shadow Fall (Lvl MAX)
- Soul Trap (Lvl MAX)
- Aether Flare (Lvl MAX)
- Meteor (Lvl MAX)
- Mana Shield (Lvl 9/11)
- Inferno (Lvl 4/5)
- Nightmare (Lvl 3/4)
- Mass Teleport (Lvl 2/3)
- Fireball (Lvl 1/13)
- Polymorph (Lvl 1/10)
- Aetheric Shackles (Lvl 1/9)
Another Heavy AoE build. The only difference is that now you have Mana Shield, so you should last longer in battle. This is also a pretty good build for PvE.
Ok, I ran out of ideas. In case anyone finds other builds that are wildly different from these and that might work, please post them here so I can add them to the guide. Remember that these are examples. You should be the one to create the build that best suits you. For example, I really like the first and second builds. Some people might prefer the third and fourth, or whatever. What really matters is how you play your character, the build should come naturally after you figure what suits you best!
3.3 Build progression example
Here is an example on how you should use your skill points as you level up. You don't have to follow it exactly like it is written, but I believe the logical choice is to go for something similar to this.
LVL 1-34:
At LVL 4 use one point in Enervate (this skill is always optional: you can choose to level this one up or Hellfire after LVL 12. If you try to level both you might not have enough opints left. If you choose to level Hellfire then just replace wherever you see "Enervate" for "Hellfire" after LVL 12).
At LVL 6 use one point in Polymorph.
At LVL 8 use one point in Lightning Orb and Enervate.
At LVL 10 use one point in Mana Shield.
At LVL 12 use one point in Hellfire, Lightning Orb and Enervate.
At LVL 14 use one point in Mana Shield.
At LVL 16 use one point in Lightning Orb and Enervate.
At LVL 17 you decide if you want to have Aetheric Shackles.
At LVL 18 use one point in Mana Shield.
At LVL 19 use one point in Black Harvest.
At LVL 20 use one point in Lightning Orb and Enervate.
At LVL 22 use one point in Mana Shield.
At LVL 23 use one point in Black Harvest.
At LVL 24 use one point in Lightning Orb and Enervate.
At LVL 25 use one point in Shadow Fall.
At LVL 26 use one point in Mana Shield.
At LVL 27 use one point in Black Harvest and Soul Trap.
At LVL 28 use one point in Lightning Orb and Enervate.
At LVL 29 use one point in Shadow Fall.
At LVL 32 use one point in Lightning Orb, Enervate and Aether Flare. You should have 1 point left, feel free to choose any skill to level up.
At LVL 33 use one point in whatever you want. ^^
When you hit LVL 34 you should reskill. You can forget about Soul Trap for now. I really like grinding with this skill, though. But I think most people prefer to level without it, it's your choice really... You can forget about Hellfire (or leave 1 point in there for the stun), since Aether Flare does about the same damage (or more) and has instant cast time and lower cooldown. Depending on your gameplay style, you could also forget about Mana Shield, but I wouldn't do that now...
After you reskill, your build should look like this:
CODE: SELECT ALL
Lvl 34 Warlock Build (Remaining: 7 SP)
- Lightning Orb (Lvl MAX)
- Mana Shield (Lvl MAX)
- Black Harvest (Lvl MAX)
- Shadow Fall (Lvl MAX)
- Aether Flare (Lvl MAX)
- Inferno (Lvl MAX)
- Hellfire (Lvl 1/6)
- Polymorph (Lvl 1/8)
- Aetheric Shackles (Lvl 1/5)
By the way, you can level the passive skills up if you want. I don't really like them, but you might find them useful. You could also keep Enervate and choose to go without Mana Shield or Black Harvest... Your choice! Just try to keep the same amount of points left or the rest of the build won't really work out... =P
LVL 35-44:
At LVL 35 use one point in Black Harvest.
At LVL 36 use one point in Lightning Orb and Aether Flare.
At LVL 37 use one point in Shadow Fall and Nightmare.
At LVL 38 use one point in Mana Shield and Inferno.
At LVL 39 use one point in Black Harvest.
At LVL 40 use one point in Lightning Orb, Aether Flare, Mass Teleport, Meteor and Nightmare.
At LVL 41 use one point in Shadow Fall.
At LVL 42 use one point in Inferno.
At LVL 44 use one point in Aether Flare, Nightmare and Meteor.
You have no more points now. You could choose to continue like this or reskill and forget one or two skills. I'll choose to reskill again... I chose a build that doesn't require Mana Shield because I found a cleric to level with me (lame example of how different scenarios will affect your build). =P
CODE: SELECT ALL
Lvl 44 Warlock Build (Remaining: 6 SP)
- Lightning Orb (Lvl MAX)
- Black Harvest (Lvl MAX)
- Shadow Fall (Lvl MAX)
- Aether Flare (Lvl MAX)
- Inferno (Lvl MAX)
- Nightmare (Lvl MAX)
- Mass Teleport (Lvl MAX)
- Meteor (Lvl MAX)
- Polymorph (Lvl 1/8)
- Aetheric Shackles (Lvl 1/7)
LVL 44-50:
At LVL 45 use one point in Shadow Fall.
At LVL 46 use one point in Inferno.
At LVL 47 use one point in Black Harvest.
At LVL 48 use one point in Lightning Orb, Aether Flare, Nightmare, Mass Teleport and Meteor.
At LVL 49 use one point in Shadow Fall.
At LVL 50 use one point in Inferno.
You should have 1 point left. In this build I only used 2 reskills, but you will probably need more if you want to see what suits you best. Remember that you can choose whatever build you want. This is one of the best in my opinion because you get to use most of your AoEs and it's not bad for PvP either. If you have other ideas, please feel free to comment and give me suggestions.
Tisel:
4.0 PvE and PvP
4.1 PvE
Killing monsters as a Warlock isn't that difficult. You click, hit a button, and the monster is dead. When you start AoEing you have to be a bit careful, but it is just as easy. If you have Mana Shield you will run out of MP faster so you'll need to rest after 2-4 runs, depends on how much you pot. There's no trick, at least for now.
The basic 1v1 combos are: Hellfire + Lightning Orb until monster is dead. Eventually use Black Harvest when you have little HP and you don't feel like potting or resting.
For when you have your AoEs: Soul Trap + Shadow Fall should do the job before you get Inferno. After you get Inferno you can Shadow Fall + Inferno and the monsters should die pretty fast. And that's basically what you'll be doing 'till 50. ^^
4.2 PvP
Apparently PvPing is a big deal in this game, so you should know which skills to use and who to use them on in certain situations. But first you need to know how the game works!
There are relic wars where each nation attacks the others in order to gain relics that give certain bonuses. You have to attack/defend temples in order to gain/keep relics. Usually those are the massive battles involving hundreds of players and here is where the Warlock shines. A successful Meteor can bring many enemies down, as well as a sucessful Shadow Fall can keep enemies from invading your temples.
There are battlegrouns where players from all nations can fight together and against each other in 6v6, 12v12, 18v18 and 24v24 battles. You won't use AoEs as much here, but your 1v1 skills should do the trick on rendering annoying enemies useless and killing weak ones.
And there are castle sieges where guilds from the same nation battle to decide who will be the ruling alliance of the nation for one week. Lord Marshal (leader of the alliance) and alliance members gain extra buffs and super awesome powers because they have to rule the nation. :O The battle is about invading/holding a castle, the gates are pretty small, so your AoEs should be pretty useful here! ^^
Now that you know all that: some important skills that you should know about.
4.2.1 Skills
Polymorph: this skill turns a single enemy into a rabbit for x seconds (depends on the level of the skill). Your enemy cannot attack and runs slower when he is a rabbit. If attacked, he comes back to normal. Do not use this skill against paladins or warriors because they are there to be hit and there are other more important classes to take out.
Focus this on Dual Gunners, Clerics and Riflemen.
Dual Gunners can be quite annoying, especially in battlefields, so it's important to neutralize them.
Clerics are clerics, so making them become useless is also important.
Riflemen can be quite annoying too with their high damage skills, but instead of Polymorphing them, if you have high LVL Aetheric Shackles you could lock them for quite a nice amount of time while they cast Headshot (I believe this is the skill that does a lot of damage and takes 5 seconds to cast).
Lightning Orb: this skill is very useful to keep Clerics, DGs, RMs or Warlocks from running away if they have low HP. If you have it at a high LVL you can make your enemy really slow and then killing him becomes easier.
Mana Shield: your defensive skill. It is very useful in PvP as it reduces the damage you take by a lot, making you harder to kill. You should always have this on, especially if you want to cast close ranged AoEs like Inferno or Nightmare.
Hellfire: useful at lower levels, but can also be used very well at higher levels to keep someone from running away or taking a good amount of the enemies HP.
Aetheric Shackles: this skill is probably the best 1v1 debuff you have. I find it particularly awesome to cast on RMs who are casting that OP skill that takes a lot of time to cast, or even other Warlocks who are casting Meteor. Remember that this skill has double duration when casted on someone who is casting.
Black Harvest: your life saver. In my opinion every build should have this mastered because it is useful in a lot of situations.
Shadow Fall: useful to keep enemies from advancing. I can think of the Tabazra Passage, or Algon's left entrance. Use it wisely and you can annoy and even kill some players.
Soul Trap: use it wisely as well. This skill is tricky to be used and most say it isn't that good, but when used right it can be quite annoying on enemies.
Aether Flare: IMO the best 1v1 attack spell. Does decent damage and is really good to take down enemies with low HP.
Meteor: your best AoE skill. Does a lot of damage, but takes long time to cast and because of that sometimes your enemies won't be at the place you thought they were going to be. Basically you have to guess where people WILL be. It's quite tricky at first, but depending on where you are fighting and how you use it, this shouldn't be a problem.
4.2.2 Combos
Now I would like to share with you some of the main combos I think Warlocks can use, then I will work on some more "complex" ones and then in some that I didn't even test. o.o
(1) Lightning Orb + Aether Flare: if you have an enemy that has low HP and is running away, get close enough to cast Lightning Orb so he becomes considerably slower and then finish him with Aether Flare. Nice and easy way of killing the weak/lost ones.
(2) Hellfire + (1): if you have Hellfire in your build, this is a somewhat easy way to kill or almost kill someone who has low HP. You cast Hellfire (it's best if the enemy doesn't see you or doesn't run away), the enemy is stunned and you cast Lightning Orb so that when he comes out of stun he is slow. Then you hit him more with Aether Flare. If he isn't dead by now you can repeat (1) until he dies. If he attacks back you could wait for the right time and cast Aetheric Shackles so you don't have to worry about your HP.
(3) Soul Trap + (1) or (2). Similar to the others, but focuses on getting the enemies HP down so that Soul Trap can finish him or make it easier for you to finish him with either Lightning Orb or Aether Flare.
(4) (1) or (2) + Black Harvest: just additional damage with Black Harvest if you are close enough to the target. Even if you don't really need the HP, maxed Black Harvest deals some nice damage.
(5) Nightmare + Meteor + Inferno: basic AoE combo that can take out some enemies if successful. The tricky part about this is making ALL targets sleep. If even one of your targets isn't hit by Nightmare then it is going to be a lot harder to be able to successfully cast Meteor, so the whole combo gets ruined.
(6) Soul Trap + (5): if you notice a low LVL or someone you suspect to have little HP around the group you are planning to attack, then Soul Trap that player and apply (5). Should be easier to kill those with higher HP this way with the additional damage from Soul Trap.
(7) Meteor + Shadow Fall: if you successfully cast Meteor on a bunch of people they will be stunned and with low HP. Shadow Fall does the job of killing them pretty fast!
Those were the combos that I actually tested in game. Some of them worked, some didn't. I really couldn't perform (5) and (6) that well because Nightmaring a whole group was really hard for me, so I didn't even try to cast Meteor. I'd just Nightmare + Inferno most of the times. Anyways, those were basic combos. You don't follow them like if they were formulas, they are just to give you an idea of what you can do with your Warlock. Different situations will require different skill combinations, so most of the times you will be creating your own combos.
Now for the fun part: combos that I didn't try!
(8) The Rabbitmare (aka Rabbitlock):
This uses three skills: Polymorph, Aetheric Shackles and Nightmare. Basically what you will do is Rabbitlock a player so that he can't attack you or anyone else, making him run away in fear. You cast Polymorph, he can't do anything for 20 seconds. After he comes back you cast Nightmare. Level 5 Nightmare keeps him useless for 20 seconds. When he comes back you have Polymorph again, so you Polymorph him. After this you cast Aetheric Shackles on him. The ideal situation is that you could lock him for as long as possible, say, 20 seconds. After this you can Polymorph him again! OK, now the combo is over because you can't cast Polymorph for 20 seconds and Aetheric Shackles and Nightmare for longer. This combo is not really about killing someone, but only disabling him/her long enough so that he can't do anything about it or so that he has to run away. Imagine if you are alone and you find an enemy Paladin... You can't really kill him, but you could use this combo to make him go away or buy sometime for your friends to come help you. ^^
(9) Enervate + Rend Soul:
Basically cast your mastered Rend Soul and then your mastered Enervate. I don't know if they stack, but if they do it should cause a pretty annoying DoT damage, top that with (1) and you have a dead enemy!
I'll only talk about one combo with the 50+ skills. Obviously there are more, but one is fine for now... Just to give you an idea.
(10) (5) or (6) + Mirrored Agony: Meteor + Inferno should do quite some damage and almost kill everyone. By using Mirrored Agony last, you will probably kill a whole group and almost die, but you killed a whole group.
(11) (10) + Black Harvest: If you didn't kill the whole group, Black Harvest + some pots should get you some extra HP so you can keep going and killing those that resisted your awesome combo.
Will add more combos as soon as I get to test other skills!

A video found by fireblood_ can be seen here: http://zoome.jp/taruaika/diary/4/?no_bt=1
It is a REALLY good PvP video that covers most of the things a Warlock can do in the battlegrounds. The skills he used: C+1 = Aetheric Shackles, C+2 = Mirrored Agony, C+3 = Polymorph, C+4 = Nightmare, C+5 = Meteor, 1 = Aether Flare, 2 = Lightning Orb, 3 = Hellfire, 4 = Shadow Fall and 5 = Inferno. Notice how he doesn't use Meteor or Inferno... They are tricky skills to be used in situations like this (6v6 battles) so he didn't even bother. He did run in their group sometimes to use Nightmare, though. Also notice HOW he uses Aether Flare and Lightning Orb, he killed a bunch of people using only those skills. And then sometimes he used Mirrored Agony comboed with some others... Apparently this skill is long ranged AND and I didn't see it doing any AoE damage, but it must be AoE. Oh, and he didn't have Black Harvest, at least I didn't see him using it... Maybe it isn't THAT useful. Anyways, this is a really good video if you want to see what the Warlock class can do. ^^
Ok, that's it! If you have any suggestions or ideas, please post them! Thank you for reading and I hope the guide was useful!
