I'm not a FE subscriber.  Might never be.  The trial is a lot of fun though.

Still playing Aion.  Still paying for Aion.  Still plan to play Aion.  I ran Fire Temple yesterday afternoon and was really disappointed with it.  It's really... underwhelming.  It reminds me of Ragefire Chasm, the level 10 newbie instance in Orgrimmar.

My Chanter is level 30 now and I've died about 10 times on him losing an entire day's worth of play.  I can deal with that, it's happened in past games before, it's just that the content to regain it is boring.  If I could have fun regaining that exp then it wouldn't be an issue losing it.

I am still subbed to Aion as well.  Work has been crazy for me lately, so my playtime is low.  I have spent my spare time playing the FE trial so that I can see if the game is for me or not.  Time will tell.  No pun intended.

Think i'm going to try Fallen Earth for a few weeks and decide on which I plan to sub. I'm reluctant to sub either b/c things like Star Trek Online & Jumpgate Evo & Modern Warfare 2 (w/hopefully dedicated servers) is right around the corner.

One of the things that kind of bugs me about a housing system is the fact that my house would be stuck in one small part of a big world.  This video brings up a "camp" system where you can set up a camp, nearly anywhere in the game world, that has your vault and a vendor.  It can be moved after several hours.  Sounds pretty cool imo.  check out this interview with the lead dev of FE.

Should be cool.  This is one of many neat player events that the community have going, there are also things like the post-apoc radio station where you can request songs to be played while playing, Wasteland News http://wastelandnews.wordpress.com/ like a wasteland newspaper, raffles for vehicles occuring weekly http://forums.fallenearth.com/fallenearth/showthread.php?t=26201&highlight=raffle.  Pretty cool stuff occurring all the time which really adds to the sense of community and a real world.
