I blame the horrible oven they throw into every tract home that decides when and if it wants to heat itself to the number on the knob. I think that perhaps the thermometer and oven were in cahoots this time. I followed the directions exact and the thermometer read the correct temperature... but the meat was still rarer than people here like it. I was aiming for medium well. You know, that perfect blend of pink and not too pink. Well, it was red. And sorta still going "MOooOooo". Oh well, the potatoes were awesome. Okay, so it didn’t go quite as planned. I got a netbook for school (typing on it now from the kitchen!), a few very nice books, and some fun games to play. Graev got several console games and other goodies he's been wanting.
